You are cordially invited to a clothing swap & mending demo at the Greenville Arms 1889 Inn on Saturday, July 7th from 10am-12pm! Bring two good condition & freshly laundered clothing items to swap/donate as well as your mending skills to share or mending projects in need of ideas.

We’ll do a few mending demos and provide suggestions for materials - some of which will be available in a small mending pop up shop out in the art studio.

This is a free event, but you are encouraged to grab a coffee, tea, or hot chocolate (or more fabric) in the Main Inn to support our small family business.

FAQs

How will the clothing swap work?

Everyone should bring two good condition & freshly laundered clothing items to swap/donate. Items will be placed on a communal hanging rack/table. You are welcome to select up to two items from the swap area. At the end of the swap, leftover items may be taken and if not will be donated.

Can I bring my items which need mending?

Yes - however you should not expect that they will be mended for you. Skills will be shared with you to enable you to mend them yourself and some suggested materials will be available for purchase.
